AMX Leasing and Logistics was founded as an entity of Abilene Motor Express. While Abilene provided quality freight services to businesses across Virginia, AMX was designed to offer rented and leased semi-trailers for storage, cartage and road use.
In the beginning, founding brothers Keith and Kolen Jones, along with their nephew Alan Jones, started with a grassroots operation. They started small, providing storage trailers to existing Abilene clients and grew into providing road and cartage use equipment as they maintained their dedication and high standard of quality service to their customers.
